What payment methods do you accept?
We offer flexible payment options for both trade and private customers. We accept BACS transfers and cheque payments (where agreed in advance). Credit facilities can also be arranged for approved trade account customers.
Will my vehicle be insured during transport?
Yes. Every vehicle we transport is fully insured while it is in our care, giving you confidence that your vehicle is protected from collection through to final delivery.
What information do I need to provide a quotation or confirm a booking?
To provide an accurate quotation or confirm your booking, we'll simply need the following details:
- Your name and contact telephone number
- Vehicle make and model
- Vehicle registration number (or chassis number if applicable)
- Full collection address
- Full delivery address
- Contact name and telephone number at both collection and delivery locations
- Confirmation that the vehicle starts, steers and brakes correctly
As we currently only transport running vehicles, we're unable to accept bookings for non-running vehicles.
How quickly can you collect my vehicle?
Where possible, we offer same-day and short-notice collections. Collection times depend on vehicle location and availability, but we'll always aim to respond as quickly as possible.
Will I receive updates during transport?
Absolutely. Communication is one of the things that sets Rapid Car Transport Ltd apart. We'll keep you informed throughout the journey, from collection through to safe delivery, so you always know where your vehicle is.
Do you transport vehicles for private customers as well as dealerships?
Yes. We work with motor dealerships, fleet operators, leasing companies, auction houses and private customers across the UK.
Can you transport electric and hybrid vehicles?
Yes. We regularly transport electric, hybrid and petrol or diesel vehicles. If your vehicle is electric, we simply ask that it has sufficient battery charge to allow safe loading and unloading.
